Chandigarh is set to enhance its infrastructure with a new 4-lane bridge at Sukhna Choe, Sector 26. The project promises smoother traffic flow, better connectivity and monsoon-ready design.The Bridge will have a seperate walking way and cycling lane.This bridge will not only improve connectivity but also reduce travel time/fuel.
The Zirakpur Ring Road Project has received clearance from MoEFCC. With a budget of ₹1,900 crore, the six-lane, 19.2 km bypass will ease congestion from NH-5 and NH-7. Work is scheduled to begin by end of 2025, providing alternate routes for Shimla-bound, Delhi-bound, and airport-bound traffic.
